Getting to Dresden

Dresden Airport (DRS) can be reached from several German and European cities.
From the airport, the S-Bahn line S2 connects you to Dresden Hauptbahnhof (main station) in about 20 minutes. Taxis, shuttle services, buses, and trams are also available.

Dresden Hauptbahnhof (main station) is served by long-distance and regional trains from Berlin, Frankfurt (Main), Leipzig, Prague, and other major European cities. The station is located in the city center.
Connections can be found using the Deutsche Bahn website.

Dresden is easily accessible via the A4, A13 and A17 motorways.
Paid parking is available near the conference venue, as well as in city-center garages.


Visa:

Conference participants who are citizens of non-EU countries may be required to obtain a visa. Detailed information on visa requirements can be found on the website of the German Federal Foreign Office. Applications for short-stay Schengen visas (up to 90 days) can be submitted through VIDEX. Official invitation letters confirming your application will be sent to you after we received your conference‑fee payment.

Tickets are available at most stations, via the DVB mobile app (Android and IOS), or directly inside trams and buses.
Connections can be scheduled using the DVB mobile app or their website.

Mobibikes are found throughout the city and can be booked for a small fare using the official Nextbike App (Android and IOS).
